Brief Answer:
Any rashes in body?

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
It is very unusual for cortisone ( steroid) injection to cause itching/allergy. However, cortisone can increase blood glucose levels which can cause itching. Do you have any rashes or redness in body ? Have you had a blood glucose test done? If not, it would be good idea to get it checked along with a CBC. Meanwhile you may take Piriton or Cetrizine for itching.

Binu

Dear DC.

You'r asking me if I do have redness in my body? Yes I do have redness and rush, on my legs, arms, stomach, breast, vagina .

No I haven't done any glucose test.

What that mean CBC?

Do I need presciption for Piriton o Cetrizine?
Thank YOU

Brief Answer:
Over the counter

Detailed Answer:
Piriton or Cetrizine doesn't need prescription. You may even get it in Coles or Woolworths or any pharmacy. However, I must warn you that, it can cause sedation and please do not drive after you take it. Best to use it at night. You may also apply a gentle cream like calamine lotion on itchy areas.

CBC means complete blood count.

Since you haven't had blood glucose tests, it is better to get one done
