Suggest Treatment For Advanced Prostate Cancer

Question: Hi My father has advanced prostate cancer and doctor told that 1 year back that hormones injection has stopped to work and right now he is at home.. even his bone examination also came positive. he has pipe to pass urine and blood is going from his urine daily some time it increases and some time it is less when it increases it comes with black color and some pieces also come in blood ..can you please suggest me what can help him in this case.

Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your father has advanced cancer of the prostate with secondaries in the bones and resistant to hormonal treatment . He is on per urethral catheter to drain out his urine and having hematuria off and on. The hematuria is primarily due to cancer of the prostate . Please consult qualified medical oncologist to explore possibility of use of chemotherapeutic medications to alleviate his symptoms.
