Suggest Treatment For Acne, Bloating, PCOS And Weight Management
Question: Asking this question on behalf of my 19 year old daughter, diagnosed with slight insulin resistance, and possible POCS, eat very health and exercises 3/4 times a week being very active but no matter what she does the more she watches what she eats her weight just keeps on going up. Just recently started Yaz contraceptive pill, basically to help with acne, seem to be bloating her even more. Have been told that maybe she should use Diabex to help with weight management, but little concerned as I thought this is a Diabetic medication, which she does not yet have. Your thought would be appreciated.

Diabex( metformin) is an antidiabetic drug and sometimes used in the treatment of PCOD in young girl if insulin resistance is there and it is not control by diet management and exercise and weight is not under control.
It is second line drug for treatment of PCOS to control weight and reduce insulin resistance.
As your daughter weight is not managed by exercises and diet, better you should give her diabex tablet.
