Suggest Treatment For Acidosis

default
Posted on Wed, 22 Feb 2017
Question: thank you. i hope you are real! when i was a child i was diagnosed with acidosis and my mom would give me a yellow syrup named citralka. it made me able to recover and now i believe from the research i've been accessing that this syrup is the alkaline substance people can use to balance the ph in their bodies. please comment. is the 7.4 ph balance of acid/alkaline attainable with use of citralka?

i am convinced that treating symptoms is a waste of time and money. i believe it is vital to understand the cause of disease and illness, symptoms, per se. i did not ask about where i could purchase the citralka in it's purest, finest, safest form, and would like to add this to my first question. thank you.

Brief Answer:
Pathophysiology explained.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Acidity (hyperacidity) and acidosis are not the same. Hyperacidity refers to the condition of excess acids being secreted in the stomach. Acidosis on the other hand refers to the loss of the pH balance in the internal environment of the body through the lack of adequate acid-base balance. Now, all the electrolytes actually can exist as positively or negatively charged ions. Thus common salt Na-OH actually consists of both acid and alkali and so does plain water (H2O or H-OH). Citralka contains an alkali which neutralizes the stomach acids but the internal environment is a different ball game altogether. Irrespective of whether you take plenty of acidic stuff or alkaline stuff the body has buffers which prevent the pH from shifting away from 7.4. In other words, without taking anything extra, your blood pH would be maintained at 7.4. You take some coke (acidic) or citralka (alkaline) and it would be just the same.

I assume that clears your query.

Feel free to write back.

Thank you for your reply, Professor. I do not carry any insurance for medical appointments or scripts; however, I believe in the healing power of citralka, based on my childhood experience, and especially when i've studied and understand how critical my situation was during that time in my life. Would you agree that after no food or drink for 2 weeks would be critical? And then with the prescribed c. syrup bringing about total healing and recovery, there could be more to it than the same as a coca cola? thank you.

Brief Answer:
Citralka and coca cola are not comparable.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

Coca cola is rather harmful whereas citralka is rather beneficial. Citralka is a combination of citric acid (weak acid) and strong alkali. Citric acid is good. Moreover, hyperacidity is quite common and citralka can provide relief.

I could not understand your query and no food or drink for 2 weeks. Do you mean 2 weeks of fasting or do you mean not having citralka for 2 weeks - please clarify.
