Brief Answer:
You have Renal Cyst of Type 2F which needs to observed perodically

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the report of your C.T Scan with contrast it appears that you have Type 2 F Bosniak Cyst .These cysts are congenital in origin (Present from birth) and detected as an accidental finding during routine ultrasound scanning or C.T Scan examination done for some other problems .

95% of Type 2F Bosniak Cysts are non malignant cyst and no active surgical intervention or treatment is required .These cysts can be observed and one needs to do either Ultrasound Scanning or C.T scan periodically at 6 months interval to observe for any malignant transformation .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

In a present situation you do not need any surgery .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .In a given situation you do not need t undergo any modality of surgery .As regards your query about the time frame required for such cysts to increase in size I would state that it may remain static for a life long and may not undergo malignant changes ..That is the reason we advice for periodical check up and take a call for surgery only if required ..
