Brief Answer:
Likely a cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you.
I have reviewed the image.

It seems like a cyst. A cyst needs to be surgically removed.

Is it painful?

No its not painful. Not until i messed with it. Is it harmful to me or just a growth? Where, if need be, would i go to have it removed? Also how would i have gotten that?! Thanks so much again for your help

Brief Answer:
A sebaceous cyst needs to be removed

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Sebaceous cyst on scrotum is a sporadic condition. The cyst is usually asymptomatic and may slowly increase in size. It may rarely become infected and hence become painful.
A small cyst can be left alone. If it enlarges or gets repeatedly infected, it may need to be removed. A surgeon or a dermatologist would remove it under local anesthesia.
Scrotum, chest, back are common sites for a sebaceous/ epidermoid cyst.
