Suggest Treatment For UTI And Blood In Urine

Question: Hi want to talk to a uranologist
On 5-7-15 went to doctor had fever for 3 days was high they said I had a ear infection so they proscribed me
amoxicillin 500mg twice daily/10days I took it for 6 days but still had fever went to ER on 5-15-15 turns out I never had ear infection but that I had a bad uti infection they did a CT scan on my kidneys to make sure it didn't spread to them and it was clear so they proscribed me Nitrofurantoin mono-MCR 100mg twice daily/5 days I completed the whole course felt better fever went away but went to regular doctor on 5-23-15 to just have my urine checked and turns out that it cleared up a lot better but still had small trace of blood in urine so they proscribed me Ciprofloxacin HCl 500mg twice daily/7 days but only took it for 2 days side affected were strong hurted my liver a bit so I stopped taking it went back to doctor on 5-30-15 checked urine was the same way better from the ER results said it was very mild now so he proscribed me Nitrofurantoin MCR 100mg 4 times daily/7 days I think that's to much dosage for a mild uti I started having fever yesterday of 99-100.1 mild kidney aches I started the anitobiotics today but only took 2 I attached a picture of both urine test result from the 5-15/5-30 wanted to know if my current 5-30 test result consider sever or mild uti or complicated and if I should take nitrofurantoin MCR 100mg 2 times a day for 7 days or should I take it 4 times a day

Nitrofurantoin MCR100mg twice daily is sufficient in your treatment.usually a follow-up ultrasound scan is advised, in case your symptoms don't get cured.As your urine routine shows blood, which needs a urine-AFB of first urine in the morning,including AFB culture.blood tests are also needed,like CBC, renal function tests and blood sugar.further treatment will depend on ,the response to the present treatment.urine routine test will need to be repeated after a week. feel free to contact me if any more doubts are there. wishing you a speedy recovery.
