Suggest Treatment For TB Infection In Abdomen

Question: I was diagnosed with TB infection in abdomin doctors started akurit 4 after that 2 test was normal then it sgpt went to 119 after that i controlled my diet it come to 78 and again after 7 days it went to 91 then my two months course was over amd doctor suggested to stop medicine for 8 days and do the test i followed after that the sgpt result was 127 why can you help me.
Now how to reduce it
In last two days the salt intake was increased.

I understand your concern and situation.


Firstly I would request you not to stop medicines at any cost. It can be dangerous and lead to serious form of MDR tuberculosis. The elevation of liver enzymes is not considered abnormal unless elevated five times the upper limit to stop treatment. So in your case it is not as high to be of so much concern. You must not worry and continue the treatment. The liver enzymes will return to normal after treatment. Take liver tonics and eat sweet food. Drink plenty of water and take juices. Stay in follow up. I assure you not to worry as this is common in most of the patients.
