Brief Answer:
How much improvement on current medications?

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through your medical reports(serum creatinine is increased).
If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have asked you the following questions in order to answer your query better-
1)What are the main symptoms-tremors,rigidity(stiffness) or slowness in movements?
2)On Syndopa 110 mg and Ropark 0.5 mg,you must have had some improvement in the symptoms-Out of tremor, rigidity and slowness, what symptoms have improved and by what extent? What symptoms have not improved?
3)Are you having any dyskinesias?Any hallucinations?Delusions?
4)Any other disease or comorbidity?

In short,I am interested in knowing the details of your symptoms,so that I can advise the therapy tailored to the symptoms.

Please follow up with the relevant details.

Tremors have decreased but rigidity and stiffness in left toes increased. Should i take Syndopa CR 250 mg?I am also suffering from Hypertension which is under control by taking Eritel LN40.I have less movement of left arm movements. No Delusions, Hallucinations but occasionaly Depressed. Suddenly I am having slowness in leg movement.

No dyskineasis disorder so far!

Brief Answer:
Syndopa at optimal frequency/No compelling indication for syndopa CR.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up.

Thanks for giving details of your symptomatology.
Since, rigidity is the chief complaint along with slowness,Syndopa 110 mg at optimal frequency(4 times a day, please mention the frequency of daily dosage you are currently taking.) may help.
As there are no motor fluctuations, no dyskinesias and no drug related side effects-I don't think there is any compelling indication for Syndopa CR currently.

For now, frequency of dosage of Syndopa 110 should be tailored to derive the maximum benefit. Ropark 0.5 mg dosage can also be increased at present to improve the stiffness.

I think, presently, you should continue with these medications only. However, the dosage should be adjusted.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow up questions,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.

Brief Answer:
You can take Syndopa CR 125 initially on overlap with Syndopa 110.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up.

To start with along with the scheduled Syndopa 110,you should take Syndopa CR 125 two times a day.Gradually,Syndopa 110 can be tapered and Syndopa CR can be escalated to Syndopa CR 250 two times a day.

This should be done under your treating physician's guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow up questions,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.
