Suggest Treatment For PCOD And Excessive Weight

Posted on Mon, 6 Mar 2017
Question: Hi I am looking for some advise regarding my Vitamin D deficiency. I believe it's obstructing my weight loss program. I am not sure if this is pertinent, but I have PCOD. However, for the last few months I have been regularly exercising and maintaining a good diet and cycle has become okay. It's now at 30 days. Thanks much.

Yes

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on HealthcareMagic.
Went through your reports you are badly defecient in vitamin D and it has to be replaced.
Vitamin D defieciency does slower the basal metabolic rate and in turn it will decrease the rate at which you will lose weight.
I would recommend you to take a supplement that could be in the form of XXXXXXX or tablet.
D-RISE 60k units once a week for around 8 weeks.
Please have vitamin D rich food like cheese, milk , sesame seeds, fish and liver .
Exposure to sunlight will also increase the vitamin D level .
Hope this helps
Best wishes

Detailed Answer:
Hello again, loosing weight by brisk walking 45 minutes a day and low fat , high fibre diet should be helpful.
Repeat Lipid profile after a month if diet and excercise don't help in reducing the cholesterol we may need to add a medication.
Hope this helps
