Suggest Treatment For MRSA Infection
Question: I am trying to find a infectious disease doctor who can treat MRSA. I had a seroma hernia that exploded on XXXXXXX 10, 2016. I had surgery but the MRSA will not respond to infusion treatments. I have been on infusion for 9 weeks, 7 days a week I need to find a specialist who in the Fort Myers, Florida area where I can get a second opinion on how to get rid of the MRSA out of my stomach. The surgeons are very hesitant about opening up my stomach.

displays bactericidal activity against all staphylococci, including VISA(vancomycin-intermediate S aureus)strains. This drug has been used successfully to treat serious MRSA infections.
Tigecycline, a broad-spectrum minocycline analogue, has bacteriostatic
activity against MRSA and is approved for use in skin and
soft tissue infections as well as intraabdominal infections caused by
S. aureus.
These are the newer parenteral antibiotics which can be used against MRSA.
