Question: Sorry about disturbing you again about MRSA !!
Once you send me such text answer to my question about cat holding at house and MRSA transition

Your answer -
2. If you change your clothes and also wash up well enough, then there should be worry for transmission to your pet, you can hold your cat

And I thought about it – that I should stop thinking too much, because I should not worry about what I know –
In summary – it think I should not be stressed about MRSA – even some one in my family get colonized with HA MRSA or CA MRSA
If we are healthy I should stop stress about that pet or some of my family could get colonized with HA MRSA or CA MRSA !
You are doctor you contact with these thing every day – but you don’t stress about that ....
So there is no need for stress !!

Brief Answer:
I am liking your new approach :)

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

To be honest, I am very happy that you have changed your approach towards MRSA. Yes, we as doctors (Especially those working in government hospitals, where the set up is not as good as a private hospital), should be more worried about these things, but we are not; and although we are exposed to such pathogens on a daily basis, we still go through life without getting infected even once.

But, we do take our precautionary measures; we wash our hands after coming in contact with each patient (physically), we wash our hands before and after each surgery, we shower every day (I shower after getting home and before leaving from home), we use a hand sanitiser whenever we are not able to wash our hands, we wear our face masks when in contact with patients who have respiratory conditions, etc.

So please continue with your precautions, and be sure that as long as all of you are healthy, hygienic and maintain good precautionary measures, there should be nothing that can worry you health-wise.

Best wishes sir. :)

You can shortly answer !

1.     Good hygiene is important – but not to get paranoia – wash hand every second and so one. More important is good immunity to avoid any problems. Is it so ?

2.     HA MRSA is not more dangerous as CA MRSA . HA MRSA cause more death because people with bad immunity get it. But in healthy people it is not problem. And CA MRSA could be more risk for people with bad immunity because it is more aggressive ! is it so ?

3.     Once you said that HA MRSA get people and pets who has bad immunity. But after some time you said that hygiene is important to avoid HA MRSA. Then we discussed that there could be some other factors ......not only hygiene. Could you please ask for some doctors ...or look shortly in literature what is this factor that protects healthy people not only good hygiene ....it could be some good protecting bacteria that are on healthy people and pets skin but not on persons with bad immunity.

Brief Answer:
I would be more than happy to help sir

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

1. Yes, do not get paranoid; but wash your hands every time you come in contact with something or someone unclean or unhygienic, before and after dealing with food, before leaving from home and after entering home, etc.

But good immunity is also pivotal, yes!

2. Yes.

3. Other factors are basically things like:

a. Environment: Private hospitals pay more attention to cleanliness, they clean and disinfect their rooms and passages every hour or so, something you will not find in government hospitals

b. Weather: For example, when it is really cold, the immunity is reduced, and so the individual can become more susceptible to infections

c. Family and occupational environment: Woking with good ethics involves, working around individuals who are healthy. Being exposed to individuals who are sick can lower your immunity

d. Being on medications: Certain medications can cause immunosuppression, which can make an individual more susceptible to illness

and various other factors, I hope you understand.

Hope this helps sir.

Best wishes.

1.     I was reading material about pets and infections from bite!
These infections are not invasive if it is treated at time ?? as it said 20 % could develop severe infection – i think only if it is not treated at time. As deep wound increase riks for bad infection. Is it so ?

Severe infections can develop in about 20 percent of all cases, and are caused by Pasteurella, Streptococcus, Fusobacterium, and Capnocytophaga bacteria from the animal’s mouth, plus possibly other pathogens from the human’s skin. In countries with endemic rabies, rabies prophylaxis should be considered.

2.     I know that in people can develop CA MRSA urine track infection – if gets inside my urine track when I touch my genitals with dirty hands or it id colonized my genital. Does it happen when my immunity is decreased ? And CA MRSA urine track infection need hospitalization or not ? And if treated in time bad outcome is very rare ?
Thank you very much !!

Thank you !! for your help !

1.     About these bites – it is said that 20 % could develop severe infection – but it could be severe wound infection or others not necessary invasive infection. I think so ! am I right ?
----------------
Severe infections can develop in about 20 percent of all cases
---------------

And also that bite is deep worse the situation, because in other case where bite is not involved severe infections are much less that 20 %. Am I right ?
…and other factors, early wound bite disinfection and proper treatment will help avoid problems.
I think so. Am I right ?

2.     Does eating the meat that is grow in factory where antibiotics is used involve my antibiotic resistance ….as I have read that it is better to avoid factory meat because they use lot of antibiotics for animals. It is better to eat natural grow meat where antibiotics is not used . is it so ….or you can still eat factory meat, because I think 99 % of all people use factory meat , and does not get sicker or susceptible to infections when it is when you use antibiotics. So I understand it is not direct use of antibiotics if you eat animal meat that is grow up with antibiotics, and influence by that is not scientific proved ? how it is ?

3.     In country where antibiotics are lot used. There are widespread HA MRSA and CA MRSA is it so ??

Always here to help sir :)

Detailed Answer:
Hi sir.

1. Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

2. In the long run yes, but unfortunately almost all meat is treated with antibiotics these days.

Yes it is much better to eat naturally grown meat

No one gets sicker by eating factory produced meat, but in the long run they do develop resistance to many antibiotics resulting in making it more difficult to treat them in their middle or older ages.

Eating meat that is treated with antibiotics does pass on some amount of the medication to the consumer, which can over time result in them developing a resistance, and so those antibiotics that are now resistant in that individual cannot be used to treat them.

3. The number can be higher, theoretically yes.

Hope this helps sir.

Best wishes.
