Brief Answer:
That could be clonus.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and that could be clonus.

Clonus and hyper-reflexia are signs of upper motor neuron disease, which is characterized by weakness of legs/arms, increased tone or stiffness of limbs and difficulty in using legs/arms. If you have none of these symptoms, then, there is no need to worry.

Reflexes may be normally exaggerated in some people, especially when anxious.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Brief Answer:
ALS is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

ALS is unlikely as you have no symptoms such as muscle weakness, thinning of muscles or muscle twitchings.

Moreover, in order to diagnose ALS, we need to have both upper and lower motor neuron signs, you only have upper motor neuron signs.
