1. If there is EH + also known as entamoeba histolytica in your stool sample then you have intestinal amebiasis which is a parasitic infection that is acquired from intake of contaminated food and water.

2. Amoebiasis is treated with medicine like ornidazole at dose of 500 mg twice daily for 7-10 days.

3. CIPLOX-OZ tablet contains ciprofloxacin 500 mg and ornidazole 500 mg and is recommended for your condition. This is a prescription tablet and I hope you have consulted your doctor before taking this medicine. Please take this medicine twice daily for 7 to 10 days as prescribed by your doctor. Please do not take alcohol when taking this medicine.

4. Taking CIPLOX OZ can cause gastritis and this is best taken after moderate meals.

5. Please drink clean water and take home cooked food for two weeks.

Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. The medicine NORFLOX TZ has similar function to CIPLOX OZ. This is an antibiotic combination containing norfloxacin and tinidazole. It belongs to same class of medicine combination just as Ciplox OZ.

2. Bifilac is lactobacilli capsule and given to restore to good bacteria in your intestine. This is only a supportive medicine and not an antibiotic.

3. You can take NORFLOA TZ twice daily after food for 5 days and also take Bifilac capsules. You might be having mild infection therefore 5 days antibiotics have been given.

4. Please take home cooked food for two weeks and have clean drinking water.
