Question: My daughter has a sore throat and has red spots in her hands and feet. She is 15 years old. Shes mostly worried about the hand and feet feeling "weird". She has had flu like symptoms since monday (fever, nausea, lethargic) Any thoughts?

I understand your concern.

I have gone through your uploaded image as well.

This could be streptococcal skin rash .

All you need to do get a throat swab,and ASO titers test.

Associated symptoms could possibly point to Acute Streptococcal pharyngitis.

Empirical antibiotic therapy in the form of Tab Augmentin 625 mg one tab twice a day for 7 days will help to eradicate the bacteria.

Please note these drugs have to be taken only under medical supervision.

I advise you to visit an Internal Medicine Physician Or a Paediatrician for further expert management.
