Brief Answer: See below Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for writing to healthcare magic. Try the following tips. 1) Feed him well in the night before sleep. If you give him heavy dinner with plenty of rice or any cereal with dhal along with ghee or oil, this will meet his night demands. Try giving night diet around 8 pm. If still not satisfied try cows milk at 10pm. After that stick to mother feeding. The number of feeds will automatically reduce at night. 2) Try good massage and bath before bedtime. I usually prescribe XXXXXXX bed time lotion which is vert safe and effective in inducing good sleep pattern. 3) Some babies take long time to wean away from mother. You need to continue breast feeding atleadt once or twice in 24 hours till 24 months . 4) If nothing works and it is very tiring maybe you can stop breast feeding completely. He might crank out for a day or two but should settle soon. But this would be my last option. Regards Dr Arun
