Brief Answer:
half dosing of plavix

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are wondering if you could reduce your dose of plavix from 75 to 37.5. The answer is I would not recommend reducing your dose.By reducing your dose you maybe not getting the full benefit of stroke prevention or heart attack prevention with full dose. You will get some protection but not the full protection and that will put yourself at risk. So I would tell you no. Do not split your tablets.

In summary
1 do not reduce you dose of plavix
