Brief Answer:
Possibilities

Detailed Answer:
Dear

Welcome to this site!
I am Dr V XXXXXXX a Sr Consultant Dermatologist.

I have noted your complaints and I think that this could be due to a number of possibilities:

1 Most likely, it might have been an insect bite that typically resolves with a small central dot known as punctum (the site of bite).

As the main lesion has resolved, you could simply let it heal by itself. In all probability, it should vanish in due course. If you apply some antibiotic like Mupirocin cream over the area, all the more better.

2 Second and less possible reason might be a scratch with nail or something hard that is visible and causing concern.

I would additionally recommend that in cases like yours one should try to ascertain the cause of angioedema and if possible, the suspected substances should be avoided so that in the first place, the problem does not arise at all.

Hopefully, this will help you in the long run and you will not face such a problem again.

Our best wishes!
