Brief Answer:
Please take Pantroprazole and lots of water, juice

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail. It appears that you are having severe gastritis following intake of moderate amount of alcohol yesterday. The maximum effect is felt the next day as you have described.

You might be experiencing some or all of these symptoms
Pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen
Nausea and vomiting
Belching
Loss of appetite
A bloated feeling
A burning sensation
A bad taste
Diarrhea

Ocid 20 is omeprazole and helpful in mild gastritis. For severe gastritis please take PAN 40 (Pantoprazole) which is a better medicine than Ocid 20. PAN 40 must be taken on empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before food.

Please take in adequate amounts of water and fresh juices and then after a couple of hours try to eat home cooked soft foods or few slices of bread with milk.

Have a good sleep at night. Please do not worry, you will be alright by tomorrow morning. Avoid spicy food for two days.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Eat food rich in sugar and take adequate rest

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

It has been said that alcohol can directly promote hangover symptoms through its effects on urine production, the gastrointestinal tract, blood sugar concentrations, sleep patterns, and biological rhythms.

Symptoms include dizziness; a sense of the room spinning (i.e., vertigo); and possible cognitive and mood disturbances, especially depression, anxiety, and irritability.

It is possible that your blood sugar is low, intake of fruits, fruit juices, or other sugar-containing foods is reported to decrease vertigo and associated symptoms for example. Adequate sleep may ease the fatigue associated with sleep deprivation, and drinking nonalcoholic beverages during and after alcohol consumption may reduce alcohol-induced dehydration.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
You need to rest for two days

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Tablet vertin is recommended for vertigo and dizziness. You might be having the short term effects of alcohol consumption. Please take rest and do not drive or indulge in any activity requiring a high degree of alertness.

If possible please take two days rest from work. Drink lots of water and fluids. Please do not drink alcohol. Keep yourself busy in doing some reading or going for a walk. Have small and regular meals through the day. Continue taking PAN 40 early morning on empty stomach for a week.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
