Brief Answer:
Probably gastritis induced bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for writing to hcm. Noted the contents. Your daughter possibly has gastritis induced bleeding. You will need to take her to a gastrophysician who will plan an endoscopy for her. He or she may want to do a colonoscopy after examination as well. Symptomatically she will be better if she takes a ppi class of medication like pantoprazole 40 mg once a day with antacid like gaviscon. Ideally the drug should be avoided if endoscopy is planned. Does she have any food intolerance? Is she pale? Regards.

Detailed Answer:
Noted. Yes, there is an entity called stress induced gastritis. I hope she can work it out soon enough. Please do a hemogram to check her hemoglobin levels as well. Bleeding per rectum should always be evaluated. My suggestion would be to see a gastrophysician as early as possible. If for any reason you cannot or do not wish to see the doc you may proceed to start the medications I advised in the previous response. Wishing her good health. Warm regards.

She is not overly pale. She has been under a great deal of stress lately, which has adversely affected her blood glucose levels. She does not have any food intolerances that we are aware of. She is sleeping at the moment.
