Question: I was tested ana positive....is that why I'm in so much pain?

I have been to a lot of specialist,rheumatologist... a lot of test has been done to me like mri countless x-rays,thyroid ultrasound, ENT,LUNG SPECIALIST... DRS ....allergist,mammograms ,urologist/gynecologist,swallowing tests, sleep apnea tests....where will this end?

ANA is an antibody and its presence is usually associated with a number of autoimmune ailments which could lead to your symptoms. I understand that a battery of tests have been done and I can assume that the results have not been conclusive for which even more follow up tests are being done. But it is immaterial to make your life miserable with tests and more tests.

Just accept that you have an autoimmune condition. Do not bother to find its name. A lack of confirmation with other antibodies does not mean that you do not have the condition. Unfortunately, it might often hard to control such pains. Take analgesics as needed. Apply hot compress. Go for physical therapy and relaxation exercises.
