Suggest Remedy For Severe Cold With Cough
Question: This is my 2nd time having a cold .. Im coughing up greeb stuff and my throat hurts do u think its time for me to see a dr ?

Your symptoms include a deep cough and nasal congestion. For my patients I usually recommend using a good cough suppressant lie Delsym. I like it because it has 12 hours of cough suppression compared to 4-6 with other brands. It maybe more expensive but you get better suppression of cough and better sleep.
For the nasal congestion I recommend a nasal decongestant spray. You can use it upto 4 times a day. This will really help reduce congestion and reduce facial pressure and pain. Do not use the spray from more than 3 days.
If these measures don't help then you may need an oral antibiotic.

I take sudifed day time and luqid musinex its for cold and flu is that okay to take ?

Yes both those products are good. I have found though that the nasal spray really works quickly to open sinuses and reduce that pressure. But the sudafed daytime will also work for congestion
