Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
If you have cleaned the wound well with soap and water and have applied an antibiotic cream, there is very little you have to fear.
The only infection that may occur commonly is a rat bite fever due to Streptobacillus moniliformis in North XXXXXXX This is a bacterial infection and if you have done the cleaning and applied the antibiotic cream, any bacteria that may have been present would have been eliminated.
Though directly from the bite, any open wound may be contaminated by organisms. So it is better to keep it covered with a sterile antibiotic dressing.
There are a few viral infections which may occur rarely and I would not worry about them if I were you.
