Brief Answer:
Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation; Use a moderately potent steroid cream

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have understood your concern.

You seem to have developec post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is a common complication of eczema/ dermatitis.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest that you use a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g mometasone furoate 0.1% cream (Elocon cream), twice daily for next 2-4 weeks to gradually fade away the dark patches. It is a prescription topical steroid and I suggest that you use it under supervision of your local doctor and only for the prescribed duration.
