Brief Answer:
Proton pump inhibitors + vitamin C pills...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since you have not reported any other symptoms besides this bitter taste, I assume you are free from any more symptoms that usually present along with bitter taste such as fever, nasal congestion, headache, throat pain, abdominal pain, retrosternal discomfort and so on. If some of these are present, let me know. More detailed account might help me understand the cause of this bitter taste.

Well, for now assuming there are no other complaints, I would suggest you try a course of proton pump inhibitor, steam inhalation and vitamin C pills.
1. Esomeprazole 40mg tablet is one such PPI that I recommend to my patients. It's given as a single dose tablet taken half an hour before breakfast.
2. Limcee chewable tablet is a vitamin C pill available over the counter.
3. You can try steam inhalation atleast 3 times a day.

Besides these measures, continue with the dietary advice given by your earlier doctor. Further if you don't get signs of improvement in the next 15 to 20 days, I will refer you to consult an ENT surgeon for careful / detailed examination and evaluation.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Try the aforementioned options...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The occasional pain is common after an angiogram. The fact that angiogram did not show blocks is a positive finding.

Moreover neither this chest pain nor the kidney stone has any sort of relation to your current complaint. Perhaps the pain after a heavy food may be related to dyspepsia / gastric reflux which might contribute to the bitter taste.
Without physical examination and evaluation it is not easy to find the real cause. Therefore try the aforementioned option for the next 15 days. If you don't find relief, then visit the ENT specialist.
