Question: I am taking ciprofloxacin for a condition diagnosed as acute cystitis with hematuria. I'm about 1/3 of the way through the course. However a constant uncomfortable pain continues to be present in my lower back. I am concerned that the antibiotic isn't working and that I may have pyelonephritis.
