Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing so much discomfort. This part of the body tends to heal relatively rapidly. Try not to pull the remaining piece of tissue away from the roof of your mouth.

I would recommend rinsing your mouth with an antiseptic mouthwash orA 50-50 mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide to but make sure not to swallow this at all.

If you develop worsening pain fever or chills you probably should see your primary care doctor to take a look at your mouth and also consider a possible antibiotic if there might be an infection.

Try to stay well hydrated and get plenty of extra rest over the next few days to help encourage your body to heal

thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Detailed Answer:
thanks for the additional question.

I would avoid putting the Oracort on the wound at this time. You can still have soup but you might wait until the soup is room temperature or cool to consume. I would stick me need to soft food for the time being. You would want to avoid any sharp edge foods for the next several days.

Also really try to focus on good hydration. I know it might be uncomfortablebut the healing process will eventually help to resolve your symptoms over the next 7 to 10 days.

Thanks again for sending your question.
