Suggest Remedy For Pain While Exercising In An Obese Person

Question: I am 18 yo and weighing 280lbs classified as class 2 obese. I have had four knee surgeries (3 on my left and 1 on my right) due to dislocations and my most recent surgery was on may 20 of this year for breaking my left knee cap in half. I do not follow a healthy diet and im unable to do any exercise for at least another four weeks. When i do exercise i have severe knee pains in both my knees. I desperately need to loose around 100lbs for the sake of my health and to take stress off of my knees. I am not sure what to do since anytime I exercise I have such pains. I am not sure what exercises I can do to allow me to lose this much weight so that I can be as healthy as I would like to be.

Brief answer....give a sincere try to lose your weight by taking help of a dietician and a physical trainer.
Detailed answer..
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and sincerely understand your concern.
It is indeed a problem which needs to be addressed.

A class 2 obesity means that your BMI is between 35-39.9 and this carries a very high health risk.
You definitely need to lose weight because such a large carries lot of future health risks.
Since you need to lose a very high amount of weight,it won't be possible for you to achieve it of your own. This would require a dedicated dietary regime and a proper exercise protocol which is suitable for you.
In my opinion you should consult a dietician and a physical trainer who can devise the ways for you.Give a time of 6 months to them and see the response.

If response is good, then keep on doing it but if response is poor, then you can think of consulting BARIATRIC SURGEONS ( for obesity surgeries ) who can guide you about the type of surgery to be undertaken by you.

Before going to dietician and physical trainer, you should consult your doctor for getting you investigated for any endocrine disorders like hypothyroidism etc which are associated with weight gain.

I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
