Hello

dosing is based on severity of the pain. I usually start tramadol 50 mg every 8 hours for severe pain. For mild to moderate pain I give paracetamol 500 mg three times daily.
Both tablets to be taken after food

Brief Answer:
Gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back. I am sorry for the short delay in my reply, I just got back from the hospital.

Here are my interpretations

The fact that the pain is in the left middle could mean that it is gastritis. Here is what you should do

1. Tab Pantoprazole 40 mg along with domperidone is the ideal tablet to be taken once a day before meals
2. Syp Mucaine gel 2tsp three times day will usually give immediate relief
3. Avoid milk, milk products, caffeine and alcohol
4. Ask him to sit straight after dinner for atleast two hours. He should not sleep immediately after sleep

Please get an ECG done as soon as possible as sometimes cardaic pain can mimic gastric pain

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

I am once again sorry for the delay in my reply
