Brief Answer:
An X-ray of the neck is advised to rule out pinched nerve...

Detailed Answer:
Hi Savuoso,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

You are saying to have pain and stiffness in your neck that is radiating down to your right shoulder and arm. I advise to run an X-ray of the neck to see at what extent the inflammation is affecting the nearby nerves.

Advil is the tradename for the generic Ibuprofen, which is an anti-inflammatory medication that will reduce inflammation and ease the pain.

I also advise to apply warm clothing locally. Usually, ice is recommended up to 48 hours after trauma.
If the pain and stiffness is caused by local trauma, then, you can apply ice within 48 hours. After that, warm clothing is advised.

Otherwise, keep your neck well wrapped and warm. Sweating and exposure to wind will aggravate your symptoms.

Hope it was of help!
