Brief Answer:
you may having an eustachian tube problem!

Detailed Answer:
Hello

From your history it looks like that you may be having an eustachian tube ( a normal tube between the ear and nose ) problem, which is causing your ear to get plugged. this will worsen on lying down , as is seen in your case.

Please dont worry and continue your antibiotics as it will help to give some relief.

I would also like you to start tablet cetrizine 10 mg at night and oxymetazoline nasal drops , 2 drops 3-4 times a day , and steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. All these will help relieve the eutachian tube swelling and unclog your ear.

Please avoid spicy and cold foods and try to lye down with the affectd ear upwards as this will also help reduce the clogging.

dont worry!

You will be fine.

Take care!

Thank you. How do I get the nasal and tablets you recommended. How long does it take for it to get better?

Brief Answer:
you can get them from the pharmacy

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Both the tablet and nasal drops are easily available over the counter drugs and you as can contact your pharmacy for the same.

It will take around 1-2 days for the relief to occur although you will start feeling better in 3-4 hours.
