Suggest Remedy For High Blood Pressure When In Telma H

Question: Hello My Father has been having high blood pressure since last 15 days. Initially we started giving Telma H. But after few days when the BP didn't come down he prescribed Nicardia Retard 10mg instead of Telma H. After 4 days of taking Nicardia when the BP still didn't reduce the doctor has suggested us to take Amlong 5 mg along with Nicardia retard.
We have done all the blood tests, Kidney function test, cholesterol test. Everything seems to be fine. How should we approach this problem now?

Generally when BP is not controlled by Telma h we don't expect it to control either. It wouldn't be great sense to combine amlodepin with Nicardia as both are calcium channel blockers.
Combining telma h and amlodepin is better idea. Take telma h in morning and amlodepin in the evening and recheck your BP after one week and get with values. Discuss about this with your doctor.

The power or potency of both medicine are almost say and switching from one to other is not expected to control BP.
