I have read your query and I have understood your concern.

-Was he using androanagen tablets Or androanagen solution? Or both?

-Is there a family history of early baldness/ hair loss in father/ brother?

-Can you upload a few Images so that I am able to get a better idea of the severity of hair loss/ thinning?

Brief Answer:
I suggest him to take both tablet and solution

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you

I also suggest him to add androanagen tablet, once daily. Together both solution and tablet would produce a better response than either of these alone.
He may also use Ducray's Anaphase shampoo for scalp wash, once daily.

Brief Answer:
Either a hair transplant with or without PRP.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you for the Image.

He has quite an extensive involvement.
Medicines have a limit and cannot regrow hair in completely bald area. Medicines can either preserve existing hair or increase density in areas with less dense but preserved hair.
For him I would suggest a Hair Transplant as first option and PRP sessions as the next best option. He can also combine hair transplant and PRP.
Medicines would still need to be continued in either case.

Brief Answer:
Hair transplant and PRP are the most effective option

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Hair transplant and PRP are the only effective options. These are commonly performed these days. Scalp reduction surgery is also an option but that is not the first option.
Medicines would maintain the existing hair density and arrest progression but cannot expect hair to regrow from this stage.
