Suggest Remedy For Eye Floaters

Question: Hello Doctor,

Ravi here age 29yrs, working as soft.engg.

Concern: From past 3yrs I am seeing some.white color patch is visible on my eyes left and right. this has not caused my vision.

Note: I am sight problem, I am wearing spectacle. -2 left and right

1. Whether it will.effect my eyes in future? any causes
2. why this patch is seen? in my eyes

Thanks for sending your query to us
These ate floaters.They are small opacities in gelly like fluid in the back of eye .This gelly like fluid is called Vitreous humor.
These are fairly common,more so in myopes In most cases they tend to become dsrker as time passes.
We do mot like to treat them.As they are so harmless.we treat them only if they start interfering with vision.For treatment w give 500 mg vitamin C daily for 6 weeks
My routine advice to my patients is IGNORE.
