Brief Answer:
Decrease the dose or change of drug needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns for your wife.

She is having problem of excessive sleepiness due to drugs.

You have mentioned that she is suffering from depression.

In my opinion, sizodon and amisant must be causing excessive sleepiness in her. These two drugs are antipsychotic drugs and used as off-label medications for resistant depression.

Another reason for laziness could be depression itself. There is a possibility that her depression has not resolved and is making her lazy.

One more probable reason for fatigue in depression can be weight gain due to drugs. This can also cause easy fatigue and laziness.

The treatment would be done accordingly.

If the drugs are the reason, I would suggest you to first stop sizodon. If sleepiness does not improve, then consider reducing amisant. If still she is sleepy, she would need a reevaluation of her symptoms and change of antidepressant or addition of stimulating drug like modafinil.

I would request you to discuss all these issues with her treating doctor and proceed accordingly.

Hope this helps.
