Suggest Remedy For Episodes Of Blackouts
Needs further evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your father's symptoms and also seen the reports.
The most likely problem is a condition called as syncope, where the blood supply to brain is reduced for a short period, during which a person faints. Recovery happens within a few seconds, once the blood flow to the brain is restored. The most common reason is poor pumping of blood by the heart.
In your father's reports, Tread Mill stress test has shown conduction block, however, it needs to be confirmed. This can be done by doing a Holter monitoring test. After that, it can be treated with medications in most cases (pacemaker may be needed in a few cases).
Another test that should be done is carotid doppler, to exclude any narrowing of blood vessel supplying blood to the brain.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
