Brief Answer:
Seems to be due to Acid reflux.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Such chest pains seem to be because of acid reflux. However, Cardiac Chest pain and muscular should be kept in consideration. Considering the possibilities involved, I feel you should take this symptoms seriously.

If I were your treating doctor, I would definitely order for ECG and Chest Xray. If the ECG and Chest Xray are normal, the pain is probably Muscular or due to Acid reflux.

In the meanwhile I suggest you
1. To do hot fomentation over the involved area 3-4 times a day.
2. To take antacid
3. To take soft and bland diet.
4. Avoid strenuous physical exercise

Share my opinion with your doctor before acting upon it.
I hope it helps.
