Brief Answer:
alopecia areata, usually treated with topical and intralesional steroids

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your complaints and according to me you are suffering from alopecia areata.
It is a chronic inflammatory disease of the hair follicles charactersised by bald patches on the scalp.
In such cases I recommend my patients to apply mometasone lotion on the bald area twice daily along with intralesional corticosteroid injections on the bald patch at intervals of 3-4 weeks till hair regrowth starts.
If the hair loss is nonprogressive and stable then there is no need of oral medicines. Follihair tablet doesn't have much role in alopecia areata.
You don't have to worry much as hair regrowth easily occurs in this form of alopecia and if it is stable as in your case it won't spread to other areas of the scalp.
I hope to have answered your query.
Wish you good luck.

Dr Asmeet
