Brief Answer:
She may SAFELY use benzoyl peroxide gel; oral antibiotics and adapalene to be AVOIDED

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have read your query and understood it well.
Oral medications for treatment of acne are usually avoided in pregnancy, since the most commonly used oral drugs for acne i.e doxycycline, minocycline and isotretinoin have adverse effects on developing fetus.
Oral Ampicillin, Amoxicillin and Azithromycin are however safe in pregnancy and may be used only if her acne is inflammatory i.e painful papules, pustules, nodules etc and only after consulation with her doctor. Not to be self medicated.
She may however safely use topical Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel on face and Benzoyl peroxide 5% gel on back, which are SAFE IN PREGNANCY.
Topical adapalene is another topical antiacne medication that is commonly used for treatment of acne; it is also NOT TO BE USED DURING PREGNANCY even though it is largely considered to be safe.
She may use a benzoyl peroxide soap e.g Aknaybar Or Perobar during shower.
