Suggest Remedies For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Oxycodone

default
Posted on Fri, 15 Jul 2016
Question: hi...I'm nearing 80 and have, in the last 2 months, been going thru withdrawal from Oxycodone which has been prescribed for me for at least 10 years....so I can tell you this is NOT an easy experience to say the least. What I need to know is whether or not the SEVERE leg SPASMS (not cramps) I've been having are part of that withdrawal? If so, before I lose my sanity, what can be done to stop them?\

Brief Answer:
Restless leg syndrome.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
You seem to be having Restless leg syndrome (RLS).
I would recommend you to get your Hemoglobin, Blood sugar, Calcium and Vitamin D levels done. If any deficiencies are found they can be improved.
As far as treatment part is concerned I would recommend two drugs in such situation. One is Pregabalin and the second one is Ropinarole.
I am very hopeful that these two drugs are going to help you a lot.
Please share my opinion with your doctor
