Suggest Remedies For Tingling Sensation In The Hand While On BP Medication

default
Posted on Wed, 9 Nov 2016
Question: I went on blood pressure medicine a week ago because my BP was running around 188/115. It has since dropped to around 150/92. I originally went to Quick Care last week because I had tingling in my left hand. That hasn't gotten any better. I am also going through physical therapy for a neck injury so not sure if the tingling isn't from that. Should I be concerned about the tingling? I am seeing not seeing a family practice doctor until 10/31.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms shouldn't be related to hypertension but to neck injury.

If the symptoms were related to hypertension the symptoms should have gone after a week of treatment (and the BP is around 150/90 mmHg).

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
