Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

Your case:
- 73 years old male
- symptoms: pain in front at sternum; going back on right side of spine at T10-11
significant pain: laying on left side
mild pain both areas getting up
bloating; not passing normal gas
- symptoms going on for 3 days
- medications tried: aleve

It seems like a muscular skeletal pain, possible pinched nerve. However, you are also reporting to have bloating, which makes me think of pressure put on mediastinum (chest) from distention of the bowels (gas).

Apart aleve, I would recommend to start easing bloating problems too through:
- taking simethicone
- if you have problems with constipation, take laxatives and/or anal enema to help empty your bowels
- take antacids or lemon soda drink to relieve gas

Start these measures and see if the pain will get eased.
