Suggest Remedies For Persistent Itching In Ears And Hands With Red Spots

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Oct 2016
Question: I used an ear candle to get rid of wax and I got a little wax and material that looked like dust. My ears have been itching for a week. After that my hands began itching terribly. They have raised red rough spots the size of a nickel. They itch and are unresponsive to hydrocortisone cream. I took the shingles shot. I have red places on my side and one small raised area on my chollar area.

Brief Answer:
Seems like fixed drug eruption

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

You have attached photo of a dog. Kindly attach photos of the rash so that the diagnosis can be narrowed. Also I need to know that whether you took shingles shot before or after the rash, the constitution of the ear candle that you used and any other medicine you may have used at that time.

From whatever you have described, it seems like fixed drug eruption. Hydrocortisone may have helped with the itching but it will not affect the rash.

Hope it helps. Waiting for more details.
