Suggest Remedies For Persistent Cough

Question: Dr, I've been lucky enough to escape the flues and colds this year so far. However, as of 2 days ago a cough started slowly bothering me and no matter how many cough drops I take it krept into my upper airway. I cannot get sick bc I do not get sick days and I cannot take anythig that makes me drowsy because I drive long distance motor coaches
Any golden remedy upyoursleeve for me?

In my opinion, possibility of post infectious bronchitis is more.
It is common after viral upper respiratory tract infection (URTI =.. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will not diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.. You may need inhaled bronchodilators and corticosteroid (ICS).
