Brief Answer:
Can be due to Laryngeopharyngeal reflux.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux. This can cause irritation in upper respiratory tract and cough.

Is your cough containing sputum or dry?
Along with Montral taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole (Nexium) 40 mg Once daily before breakfast for 4 weeks will be helpful to clear this.

Try to have your dinner early- at least 2 hours before bed time. Raise your head end more with additional pillows. Better to avoid carbonated drinks, coffee, smoking and alcohol if you are currently taking.

These measures will be helpful to clear your problem.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
