Question: I had a severe fall 2 weeks ago. Although I landed on the side of my calf, which swelled and got very hard, a very painful and deep bruise has come out on my shin. The area is red, swollen, and feels like I have been stung by a colony of bees. What can I do to get some relief.

Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.

It seems to be a tear in soft tissue, followed by inflammation here are a few things which will help you get relief earlier.

1) Wrap crepe bandage around it.
2) Cold spounging will help.
3) Take good rest.
4) Take brufen tablet 400mg twice a day it will relieve inflammation and pain too.
5) You can rub pain killer like diclofenac or brufen gel.

This will take about 10 days to get better take good care.
