Question: Yes, I am a 50 yr old with several health problems, one that I deal with frequently is both nasal and chest congestion some time s separate,, but like today they're combined, and am looking for a over the counter decongestant that will get me by until I see my primary care physician on TUESDAY. I KNOW YOU CANN NOT PRESCRIBE but will you at least assist me in being able to breath

Nasal and chesty congestion are commonly seen in allergic conditions.
So you should avoid dust, pollens, smoke, pollution, chemicals etc.
Take combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs. This includes levocetrizine or fexofenadine and montelukast combination. This combination is easily available in the market.
You may also need intranasal spray containing steroid (fluticasone).
Also get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out asthma.
If you are not improving with these drugs then prednisone can be useful.
