Question: I have a small lump on the back of my neck under the skin. This program is saying most likely benign lymphoma Should I have my physician look further into it?

Benign lipoma is what I meant to type

Much more common lump on the back is sebaceus cyst. However lipoma is also very probable. Lipoma is soft when palpating it. Both are painless.
And both are benign. The only reason to remove this lumps is cosmetic effect. Otherwise, you may leave it alone and have under observation. If it starts growing, than you should have it removed for sure.
