Brief Answer:
Hello...

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

From the medical point of view, I would like to be very clear that metoprolol in some patients can cause breathing problem that to more in patients with the history of bronchus asthma. But Losartan and hydralazine do not causes breathing difficulties.

However, if you still are not convinced you can try amlodipine for blood pressure control. Amlodipine is very safe and does not cause breathing problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

i checked the forms i get from the pharmacy whenever i get a new or refilled prescription, all of them say they can cause shortness of breath and/or trouble breathing including amlodipine which i also take..i know there is a drug that does not cause any of the side effects because i was given that several times whenever i had a stress test or a procedure checking my heart..it brought my blood pressure down in seconds. i wasn't supposed to have seen that monitor...i believe the drug companies do it this way so the doctors can order more procedures which make them more money...
