Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it is difficult to make any comments as you have not mentioned whether you fecal incontinence or Urinary incontinence.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have urinary symptoms like frequency for urination ,urgency ,poor stream etc?
2) Are you taking any medications?
3) Have you consulted any Urologist and carried out any tests and if so what were the reports.?
4) Are you diabetic?
5) Have you done Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis.

Thanks for feedback.

You have not mentioned whether your diabetes is under control or not.

The urgency that you have could be mostly due to Over Active Bladder Syndrome with uncontrolled diabetes.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and Digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done under his guidance to rule out Enlarged Prostate which is very common at this age.
1) Blood Sugar levels on empty stomach and two hours after lunch to see status of your diabetes.
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis with specific mention of post void residual urine

As regards Urgency it can be controlled with medication like Darifenacin once daily.

Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.
